Elastic has announced a partnership expansion with Tines to deliver an integrated solution featuring Tines Workflow Automation alongside Elastic Search Artificial Intelligence (AI) Platform. This development is designed to enhance security and observability, focusing on increased operational efficiency, minimized security risks, and reduced downtime for security and IT teams.
Under this partnership, security teams will gain access to security orchestration, automation, and response (SOAR) capabilities and AI-driven security analytics. Observability teams will also benefit from improved incident response automation. Braxton Williams, engineering manager at Texas A&M System Cyber Operations, emphasized the partnership's impact, stating, “It’s been a game-changer for our team and our ability to protect our vast network of 11 universities, eight state agencies, and our seven external customers.”
The announcement comes as organizations face increasing challenges with data overload and threats requiring immediate attention. Many security analysts and DevOps engineers are tasked with identifying issues across various systems while also managing alerts that demand intervention. Eoin Hinchy, cofounder and CEO at Tines, noted, “By connecting real-time analysis and AI-powered workflows, the combined offering from Elastic and Tines minimizes that time, resulting in faster issue resolution and reduced costs.”
