Networks today need to be simple, open, and programmable in order to enable new trends. Are yours?
In this DemoFriday, HP will show us its software-defined networking (SDN) strategy. HP’s SDN strategy is to provide customers with a programmable network that is aligned to business applications. To assist in easy migration to SDN, HP provides a full SDN service offering covering from assessment and analysis, validation, integration and implementation to ongoing support and training and certification.
HP has an open SDN ecosystem that includes:
- 50 enabled-SDN devices that represents over 30 million installed ports
- HP VAN SDN Controller
- Three SDN applications enhancing security, optimization, and visibility
This SDN ecosystem also includes a Software Development Kit for developers to create SDN applications and the HP SDN App store as a market place for developers and partners to monetize their application and to also share innovations. The HP SDN App store is also for customers to purchase SDN applications. One of the apps in HP’s SDN App Store is the HP Network Visualizer SDN Application. It provides active traffic capture with immediate detailed network monitoring allowing for quick network diagnosis, verification, and transition from incident to being fixed. Be ready to see this and other HP SDN applications at work during the HP DemoFriday!
So join us on June 12th at 10:00am PT and find out more about HP SDN applications.
