When Cisco first unveiled its Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI), software-defined networking (SDN) was just starting to gain traction in the marketplace. Since then, more than 1,000 customers have embraced ACI, the centerpiece of Cisco’s SDN vision and strategy. More than 150 customers have live production traffic running on ACI, Cisco says, with more coming on board at a steady pace.
