Earlier this month, when we upgraded the popular announced and shipping product pages, we told you that we would continue expand our directory capability via leveraging our database backend to further automate the collection and enhance the presentation of information on the site to improve the community experience. Today, we’re launching an updated Open-Source Directory page. What this means is a) significantly more information is published about your favorite open-source SDN projects; and b) the community now can help us catalog and update SDN open-source projects, and that we will no longer become a bottleneck in keeping the page up-to-date.
For open-source project leaders who do not see your project listed yet, please contact us to add your project and manage your project listing. It will help you gain additional visibility with the community, plus potential SEO benefits on search engines.
By the way, if you are looking to promote your products or companies on the site, please check out our services, both free and compensated (and help us defray the costs of running and developing the site).
