The large number of community requests for SDNCentral Localization shouldn’t have been a surprise to us. After some digging, we realized that SDNCentral is really a global community — with roughly 40% of the community — participating from countries where English is a second language.
We are excited to announce a major update to SDNCentral released this morning: Every page on SDNCentral can now be viewed in local languages via Google Translation services. To translate a page — just look for Translate on the right sideboard and select your language of choice. Google will take care of the rest.
At SDNCentral — we listen to the community — and strive to quickly bring enhancements, like SDNCentral Localization to the site that can further prompt network virtualization, software-defined networking, SDN, and OpenFlow technologies. Please keep the suggestions coming.
SDNCentral Localization is only the beginning — we’ll be announcing a number of other major upgrades and updates in the coming weeks. Stay tuned.
