SDNCentral Beta Launch of SDN Jobs Board

SDNCentral SDN Jobs Board Available

Over the past months, we have received numerous requests to put up SDN-related jobs on a SDNCentral job board from our community members.

We realize that as the SDN movement grows that the ecosystem needs a dedicated exchange to find like-minded individuals to fill open positions. While we’re not about to take on DICE or Monster, we think that until SDN becomes the new norm of networking (as the ONF likes to say),  we can play a role for the community to host SDN-related job listings. These listings can benefit both the employers, as well as the 35,000+ members of the SDNCentral community which include executives, developers, network engineers, marketing, sales and business development talent in networking.

And so, with that in mind, we’d like to announce beta availability of job listings on our site–it’s an experiment we’ll be trying out for the next 30-60 days to gauge community interest and participation.  We are offering up a limited number of beta slots to SDN companies for the opportunity to list up to two SDN-related jobs for 30 days with us during the beta period.

If you have a job you’d like to post on the job board during the beta, you can apply to participate.  Here’s what you need to do:

  • If you already have an account on, send email to with your current username
  • If you don’t yet have an account on SDNCentral, sign up as an employer and we’ll contact you
Preferences will be given to hiring companies already in our SDNCentral directory (employers only please, no 3rd party agencies).

For the other members of the community, please feel free to browse the job listings and share them on your social networks with friends you think might be interested in those jobs.  We’d also value your feedback regarding our experiment.

We’d like to thank our first two beta participants, the Open Networking Foundation and Huawei.

As always, we appreciate the community support–you have all been great!
